The Desiderata, and rule of life of Baltimore, a poem about "So you live a happy life". means literally the title (from Latin desiderare, "desire", "wish") about (blessing) wish.
Everyone must find his own way. It is non-always easy, but it's worth looking for the right! It is often not in place, often need a lot of patience and hope!
Go just start and do not turn around, because in each end is a new beginning!
